1    AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  



 
 
4    Section 5. The Open Meetings Act is amended by adding 
5Section 7.4 as follows:
 
6    (5 ILCS 120/7.4 new)
7    Sec. 7.4. Required public posting of information by 
8participating municipalities and instrumentalities under the 
9Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. A participating 
10municipality or instrumentality under Article 7 of the Illinois 
11Pension Code shall post on its publicly available website, if 
12the participating municipality or instrumentality maintains a 
13publicly available website: (1) all documents pertaining to the 
14municipality's or instrumentality's adoption of a resolution 
15to participate under  Article 7 of the Illinois Pension Code if 
16the municipality or instrumentality has adopted such a 
17resolution; (2) all documents pertaining to the municipality's 
18or instrumentality's annual projected future contributions 
19under Article 7 of the Illinois Pension Code; and (3) 
20information about the amount of the municipality's or 
21instrumentality's past required contributions to the Illinois 
22Municipal Retirement Fund for each year of participation. This 
23Section does not require a participating municipality or

1instrumentality to post on its website information that is 
2exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
 
3    Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding 
4Section 8.43 as follows:
 
5    (30 ILCS 805/8.43 new)
6    Sec. 8.43. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 8 
7of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for the 
8implementation of any mandate created by this amendatory Act of 
9the 101st General Assembly.
 
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
11becoming law.
