SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Angela A. Murges, who passed away on July
45, 2018 at the age of 85; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Angela Murges was born to Antoinette and Vincent
6Spadavecchio on September 13, 1932; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Angela Murges worked as a restaurant manager at
8Ranalli's on Lincoln in Lincoln Park for over 20 years; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Angela Murges loved to dance and for many years
10traveled the country as a professional Latin jazz dancer; she
11was known to leave "no stone left unturned" in a quest for fun;
12she was "a beautiful woman and her beauty radiated from her
13core, her essence, her soul"; she saw the good in everyone and
14strove to be positive and bring out the best in others; she
15will be fondly remembered for the good times had at the Lincoln
16Park West pool during the 1960s; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Angela Murges was preceded in death by her
18parents; her sister, Marie; and her brothers, Joseph and
19Victor; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Angela Murges is survived by her husband of over

150 years, Paul; her daughter, Giana (Preston) Pisellini; and
2her grandchildren, Luca and Evan Pisellini; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Angela A. Murges and extend our sincere condolences to her
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Angela Murges as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
