SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Hannah J. Adams of McLean, who passed
4away on June 2, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Hannah Adams was born in Lincoln to Dr. Lynn and
6Alice Samuell Ijams on March 7, 1938; she graduated from
7Atlanta (Illinois) High School and attended MacMurray College;
8she married James Harold Adams in her parents' home in Atlanta
9on August 2, 1957; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Hannah Adams retired from ISU Credit Union in
11Normal; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Hannah Adams loved her family and enjoyed music;
13she was active in her church and with the Girl Scouts for 37
14years; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Hannah Adams was preceded in death by her parents;
16her brother, Allyn Ijams; her brother-in-law, Duane
17Quisenberry; her sister, Matilda Ijams; and her
18great-grandson, Enzo Wilcox; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Hannah Adams is survived by her husband, James
20Adams; her children, Lynn (Sheila) Adams, Brenda (Dan) Wilcox,

1Arnold (Alicia) Adams, and Harold Adams; her grandchildren,
2Mary (Richard) Wise, Rachel (Drew) Henricks, Sarah (Miles)
3Williams, Eric (Naomi) Wilcox, Evan (Jessica) Wilcox, Jake
4Adams, Cody Adams, Drew Adams, Ruby Adams, and Sophia Adams;
5her great-grandchildren, Leora Wilcox, Adam Wise, Elizabeth
6Wilcox, Evalina Wilcox, Ruth Wilcox, and Baby Girl Wise (due in
7June); her sisters, Joyce Quisenberry and Sally (Jack)
8Bicknell; and her sister-in-law, Charlotte Ijams; therefore,
9be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Hannah J. Adams, and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Hannah Adams as an expression of our
17deepest sympathy.
