SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski of McHenry,
4who passed away on May 22, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was born in Chicago to James and
6Theresa (Sheffke) Robaczewski on November 9, 1937; he married
7Camille M. Pace at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Chicago on
8August 31, 1957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski worked for U. S. Waterproofing; he
10later was employed by W. W. Grainger before starting a 25-year
11career with Argus Press, where he was a maintenance engineer;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was a talented handyman and a
14behind the scenes jack-of-all-trades; he was a devoted member
15of St. John the Baptist Church and proudly served as a Fourth
16Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 9167; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski was preceded in death by his
18parents and his loving wife, Camille; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Don Robaczewski is survived by his children,
20Thomas (Marilyn) Robaczewski, Therese "Terri" (Ronald) Malek,

1Daniel (Michelle) Robaczewski, and Denise Robaczewski; his
2grandchildren, Kimberly (Matthew) Smith, Thomas Robaczewski,
3Morgan Malek, and Madelyn Malek; and his great-grandchild,
4Kennedy Marie Smith; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Donald R. "Don" Robaczewski, and extend our sincere condolences
8to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Don Robaczewski as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
