SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Guy F. De Vita, who passed away on April
420, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was born in Chicago to Anthony and
6Josephine De Vita on July 12, 1924; he attended the Chicago
7National College of Naprapathy, where he earned his bachelor of
8science degree and his Doctorate of Naprapathy; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Guy De Vita later attended the National College of
10Chiropractic in Lombard and became a nutritionist; he went on
11to teach Naprapathy, serve as the dean of academics, and as a
12member of the board of education; he also taught Italian at
13McHenry County College; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was a loving husband, father,
15grandfather, and great-grandfather; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Guy De Vita was preceded in death by his parents;
17his son, Frank De Vita; his first wife, Rose De Vita; and his
18sister-in-law, Blanch De Vita; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Guy De Vita is survived by his wife, Nancy; his
20son, Tony (Deborah) De Vita; his grandchildren, Tony (Katie) De

1Vita, Michael De Vita, and Christina (Dan Lewis) De Vita; his
2great-grandchildren, Anna, Andrew, Sara, and Ryan; and his
3brother, Frank De Vita; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Guy F. De Vita and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Guy De Vita as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
