SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Katharina Bertha Goldhammer of Lincoln,
4who passed away on January 16, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was born in Emden to
6Frederick and Wilhelmina (Englehorn) Wiggers on November 3,
71921; she married John H. Goldhammer in Lincoln on October 21,
81961; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer worked for over 25 years at
10the Glenn Pontiac-Cadillac Dealership as the office manager and
11bookkeeper; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was a member of the First
13United Methodist Church in Lincoln, including the Ruth Circle;
14she was also a member of ESA Sorority; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was preceded in death by her
16husband, John; her parents; her siblings, Mildred, Eileen,
17Frederick, Marvin, Kendall, Thelma, and Milton; and her nephew,
18Kevin Wiggers; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer is survived by her cousin,
20Harold (Vi) Wiggers; her sister-in-law, Darlene (Bob) Singley;

1her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Tom) Kavelman, Lori (Paul)
2Bottrell, Lois Pruitt, Roger Wainwright, Carrie Wiggers, Karen

11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Katharina Bertha Goldhammer, and extend our sincere
14condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
15her; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Katharina Goldhammer as an
18expression of our deepest sympathy.
