SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Billy F. McLean of McHenry, who passed
4away on October 3, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Billy McLean was born in Milan, Tennessee to
6William F. and Ruby (McEwen) McLean on December 10, 1932; he
7served in the United States Army during the Korean War; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Billy McLean worked as an Employee Recruiter for
9AT&T, retiring after 34 years of service with the company;
10later, he worked as a driver for Metro Transit in Minneapolis;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Billy McLean enjoyed researching and writing
13about his family history; he was a member of the McHenry VFW;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Billy McLean was preceded in death by his wife,
16Fonda; his parents; and his brother, James McLean; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Billy McLean is survived by his children, Monty
18McLean and Michelle (Herbert) Hansen; his grandchildren, Riley
19McLean and Matthew and Nathan Hansen; and his sisters, Barbara
20(Devon) Rollins, Cheri (George) Bott, and Judy (Henry)

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Billy F. McLean, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Billy McLean as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
