SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Paul E. Rueff of Marengo, who passed away
4September 23, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff was born in Tower Hill to Ezra and
6Bessie (Blades) Rueff on May 16, 1931; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff proudly served in the United States
8Army; while he was stationed in Germany, he met his sweetheart,
9Margot, and they married in Crystal Lake on May 7, 1955; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff's dedication to his country through his
11military service was recognized when he was able to participate
12in an Honor Flight; that experience was one of the best in his
13life; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff was a family man and a hard worker; he
15had an easy-going demeanor and took pride in everything he did;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff was preceded in death by his wife,
18Margot; and his siblings, Kenneth, Mary, Reba, and John; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Paul Rueff is survived by his children, Dale

1(Kim), Michael, Kenneth (Susan), and Diane (Scott) Gerner; his
2grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Kyle, Emily, and Alex; his
3great-grandson, Maddux; and his brothers, Frank (Brenda) Rueff
4and Robert (Gladys) Rueff; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Paul E. Rueff, and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Paul Rueff as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
