SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Judith "Judy" Seibt Franklin of Chicago
4Heights, who passed away on February 18, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Judith Franklin was born on April 25, 1938; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Judith Franklin was the former owner of His Store
7The Sacred Heart of Jesus in Chicago Heights; she worked at
8Suburban Heights Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist
9Apprentice for 15 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Judith Franklin was a member of the Third Order of
11Carmelites and helped create the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at
12St. Agnes; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Judith Franklin was preceded in death by her
14husband, William Franklin, and her brothers, John Hoffman, and
15James Schafer; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Judith Franklin is survived by her sons, Robert W.
17(Cynthia), Michael A., Thomas P., and Timothy J. Seibt; her
18grandchildren, Michael W., Christine N., and Robert A. Seibt;
19her sisters-in-law, Jill Hoffman, and Helene Schafer; and 11
20nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Judith "Judy" Seibt Franklin, and extend our sincere
4condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
5her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Judith Franklin as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
