SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Walter S. Chess Jr. "Buster" of Joliet,
4who passed away on January 10, 2017 at the age of 65; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Walter Chess Jr. was born in Joliet on November
621, 1951; he was a graduate of Joliet Township High School; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Walter Chess Jr. was a handyman who could fix
8anything; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Walter Chess Jr. was preceded in death by his
10father, Walter (Louise) Chess Sr. and his mother, Lucille
11(Sinchak) Chess; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Walter Chess Jr. is survived by his beloved
13daughter, Dena (Eric) Schlunz; one sister, Judy (Charles)
14Mistakovich; one niece, Diane Wright; one nephew, William
15Mistakovich; a great-niece, Sabrina Wright; his former spouse,
16Elida Chess; a stepbrother, Mike Schulte; and three dear
17friends who were always there for him, Billy Newman, Frank
18Orenic, and Bob Ongenae; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Walter S. Chess Jr.
2"Buster", and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
3friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Walter Chess Jr. as an expression of
6our deepest sympathy.
