SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Leslie V. Schneider of Beach Park, who
4passed away on December 15, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Leslie Schneider was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin
6to Joseph and Eva Schneider on June 29, 1925; he married
7Eleanor Haugen in Eau Claire and they settled in Beach Park in
81952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Leslie Schneider worked at V.R. Wesson in Waukegan
10for 31 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Leslie Schneider was a member of Lakeview Church
12for many years; he enjoyed playing his harmonica and accordion,
13and fishing; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Leslie Schneider was preceded in death by his
15parents; his sister, Delores Halblieb; and his daughter, Judy
16McCreary; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Leslie Schneider is survived by his wife of 69
18years, Eleanor; his children, Larry (Terry) Schneider, Peggy
19(Bob) Lahti, and Calvin (Debbie) Schneider; eight
20grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, with another on the

1way; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Leslie V. Schneider, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Leslie Schneider as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
