SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Peter George Daleiden of Aurora, who
4passed away on January 9, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was born in Aurora on July 23,
61938; he graduated from Marmion Military Academy in 1956 and
7the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1959; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was President and the third
9generation in his family to own the Daleiden Mortuary in
10Aurora; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was a member of Holy Angels Church
12in Aurora; he was a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of
13Columbus and the Gofer Club; he enjoyed cooking and traveling
14with his family; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was preceded in death by his
16mother, Carrie (Raab) Daleiden; his father and stepmother,
17George P. and Myrtle (Waltz) Daleiden; his father's third wife,
18Ann Daleiden; his uncle, Theodore "Ted"; his aunts, Hildegard,
19Angela, Teresa, and Olga; and his step-grandson, Alexander R.
20Yokosawa; and

1    WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden is survived by his wife of 52
2years, JoAnn (Madar) Daleiden; his daughters, Stephanie
3"Stevie" Daleiden (Dan Dolan), and Anastasia "Stacie" (Martin)
4Yokosawa; his granddaughters, Alexis Daleiden Banks, and
5Dominique Daleiden Yokosawa; his step-grandson, Niko D.
6Yokosawa; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two
7grand-puppies, Bushido and Korbel; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Peter George Daleiden, and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Peter Daleiden as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
