SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Vicente Santoyo Sanchez of Berwyn, who
4passed away on April 5, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez was born in General Ponfilo Natera
6in Zacatecas, Mexico to Pablo Santoyo and Catalina Sanchez on
7April 14, 1968; in 1986, he emigrated to the United States and
8headed for California; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez moved to Chicago in 1988 and
10joined his brother, Lucino, working together at a demolition
11company; he worked for Robinette Demolition from 1997 to 2009;
12he most recently worked for Omega Demolition in Elgin; he was a
1325-year veteran of Laborers Local 225; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez became a permanent resident of the
15United States in 1990; he married Maricela in a civil ceremony
16on May 25, 1996, and in a religious ceremony on July 21, 1996;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez was a parishioner at St. Anthony
19Parish in Cicero; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez was preceded in death by his

1parents; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Vicente Sanchez is survived by his wife, Maricela,
3and his children, Vicente Santoyo Jr., Juan Pablo, and twin
4daughters; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Vicente Santoyo Sanchez, and extend our sincere condolences to
8his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Vicente Sanchez as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
