| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Township Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 30-51 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 30-51. Competitive bidding exceptions. Contracts and |
| 8 | | purchases that by their nature are not adapted to award by |
| 9 | | competitive bidding, such as contracts for goods procured from |
| 10 | | another governmental agency and purchases of equipment |
| 11 | | previously owned by some entity other than the township itself, |
| 12 | | are not subject to the competitive bidding requirements of this |
| 13 | | Code.
