| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 67 as follows:

| 6 | | (5 ILCS 490/67 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 67. Esther Golar Day. April 16 of each year is |
| 8 | | designated as Esther Golar Day, to be observed throughout the |
| 9 | | State as a day to remember the accomplishments of State |
| 10 | | Representative Esther Golar, and to honor her legacy of public |
| 11 | | service.
