HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
3HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE SENATE
4CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Parental Responsibilities and
5Child Support Task Force is created; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That the Parental Responsibilities and Child
7Support Task Force shall: review current laws regarding
8parenting time, allocation of parental responsibilities, and
9child support in this State; evaluate whether the laws are
10implemented in a uniform and fair manner in this State; and
11assess the impact of the laws of this State on children and
12parents; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall consist of the
14following members:
15        (1) two members of the Task force shall be appointed by
16    each legislative leader;
17        (2) one member shall be appointed by the President of
18    the Illinois State Bar Association;
19        (3) one member shall be appointed by the President of
20    the Chicago Bar Association;
21        (4) one member shall be appointed by the President of
22    Illinois Fathers for Equality;
23        (5) one member shall be appointed by the leadership of

1    Leading Women for Shared Parenting;
2        (6) one member shall be appointed by the board of
3    directors of the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic
4    Violence; and
5        (7) one member shall be appointed by the board of
6    directors of the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace; and
7    be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That the Department of Healthcare and Family
9Services shall provide administrative and other support to the
10Task Force; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That the Task Force should seek voluntary
12assistance from educational, legal, civic, and professional
13organizations and institutions in its review; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That the Task Task Force shall submit a report on
15its findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by
16December 31, 2018; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That the report filed with the General Assembly
18shall be filed with the Clerk of the House of Representatives
19and the Secretary of the Senate in electronic form only, in the
20manner that the Clerk and Secretary shall direct.
