HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, 25 ILCS 155/4 states that the House and Senate, by
3joint resolution, shall adopt or modify revenue estimates
4provided for by the Commission on Government Forecasting and
5Accountability and the Governor's Office of Management and
6Budget; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The statute provides that the joint resolution
8shall constitute the General Assembly's estimate, under
9paragraph (b) of Section 2 of Article VIII of the Constitution,
10of the funds estimated to be available during the next fiscal
11year; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Under subsection (b) of Section 2 of Article VIII
13of the Illinois Constitution, appropriations for a fiscal year
14shall not exceed funds estimated by the General Assembly to be
15available during that year; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
17HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE SENATE
18CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Illinois House of Representatives
19estimates the general funds to be available during State fiscal
20year 2019 as follows:
