SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
20 ILCS 505/4e new

    Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to provide any child age 19 or younger who is still attending high school and not otherwise emancipated the same services and programs that are provided to any child under the age of 18 and on the same terms and conditions as those services or programs are provided to any child under the age of 18.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended
5by adding Section 4e as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 505/4e new)
7    Sec. 4e. Services for children age 19 and younger.
8Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department must
9provide any child age 19 or younger who is still attending high
10school and not otherwise emancipated the same services and
11programs that are provided to any child under the age of 18 and
12on the same terms and conditions as those services or programs
13are provided to any child under the age of 18.
