SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
    Authorizes the Department of Military Affairs to convey described real estate in Tazewell County. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning land.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of
5Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs, is authorized
6to convey by Quitclaim Deed all right, title, and interest of
7the State of Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs in
8and to the real estate described in Section 10 to the City of
9Delevan, subject to the conditions and restriction described in
10Section 15.
 
11    Section 10. The Adjutant General is authorized to convey
12the following described real property:
 
13TRACT I:
14    Being all of Lot Two (2) and part of Lot Three (3) of Block
15Twenty (20) of the Original Town, now City of Delavan, Tazewell
16County, Illinois, as shown on Plat recorded in Deed Book "G",
17Page 474, Tazewell County Recorder's Officer, further
18described as follows:
 
19    Beginning at a 1/2" iron rod, marking the Northwest corner
20    of said Lot 2; Thence North 89° 56' 08" East (Bearings
21    assumed for the purpose of description only) a distance of

1    150.88 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; Thence South 0° 01' 14"
2    West, a distance of 225.88 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; Thence
3    North 89° 56' 36" West, a distance of 150.98 feet, to a
4    1/2" iron rod; Thence North 00° 02' 43" East, a distance of
5    225.56 feet, to the Place of Beginning, containing 0.78
6    acres more or less.
 
7TRACT II:
8    Being a part of Lot Four (4) of Block Twenty (20) of the
9Original Town, now City of Delavan, Tazewell County, Illinois,
10as shown on Plat recorded in Deed Book "G", Page 474, Tazewell
11County Recorder's Office, further described as follows:
 
12    Beginning at a 1/2" iron rod, marking the Northwest corner
13    of said Lot 4; Thence North 89° 59' 46" East (Bearings
14    assumed for the purpose of description only) a distance of
15    129.85 feet to a 1/2" iron rod, being on the Westerly
16    R.O.W. line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad; Thence
17    South 07° 53' 58" West, along said R.O.W. line, a distance
18    of 152.00 feet, to a 1/2" iron rod, being on the North
19    R.O.W. line of the SBI Route 122; Thence North 89° 56' 36"
20    West, along said R.O.W. line, a distance of 29.01 feet, to
21    a 1/2" iron rod; Thence North 0° 01' 14" East, along said
22    R.O.W. line, a distance of 5.00 feet to a 1/2" iron rod;
23    Thence North 89° 56' 36" West, along said R.O.W. line, a
24    distance of 80.00 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; Thence North 00°

2    Beginning, containing 0.40 acres more or less.
 
3TRACT III:
4    Being a part of Lot One (1) of Block Twenty (20) of the
5Original Town, now City of Delavan, Tazewell County, Illinois,
6as shown on Plat recorded in Deed Book "G", page 474, Tazewell
7County Recorder's Office, further described as follows:
 
8    Beginning at a 1/2" iron rod, marking the North-west corner
9    of said Lot One (1):
 
10    Thence North 89° 56' 08" East (Bearings assumed for the
11    purpose of description only) a distance of 150.69 feet to a
12    1/2" iron rod, being on the Westerly R.O.W. line of the
13    Illinois Central Gulf Railroad; thence South 07° 53' 58"
14    West, along said R.O.W. line, a distance of 152.04 feet to
15    a 1/2" iron rod; thence South 89° 59' 46" West, a distance
16    of 129.85 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence North 00° 01' 14"
17    East, a distance of 150.44 feet to the Place of Beginning,
18    containing 0.48 acres more or less.
 
19    Section 15. The Adjutant General shall not convey the real
20property described in Section 10 to the City of Delevan until
21the Adjutant General determines that the property is no longer
22required for military purposes. Conveyance of the above real

1property will be in an "as is" condition, and the City of
2Delevan will pay all required costs and expenses of the
3conveyance, as determined by the Adjutant General. The
4Quitclaim Deed shall state on its face and be subject to the
5condition that if the property is no longer used for public
6purposes, then title shall revert without further action to the
7State of Illinois.
 
8    Section 20. The Adjutant General shall obtain a certified
9copy of this Act from the Secretary of State within 60 days
10after its effective date and, upon the conveyance of the real
11estate described in Section 10 being made, shall cause the
12certified copy of this Act to be recorded in the office of the
13Recorder of Tazewell County.
 
14    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15becoming law.
