Garwood is retiring from a dedicated 24-year teaching career this year; and WHEREAS, Margaret Garwood has taught mathematics at Oak Grove School in Green Oaks, Illinois for the past 18 years; and WHEREAS, During the past five years, Margaret Garwood organized a quilt project for the students at Oak Grove School; after the quilts are completed and raffled off, the proceeds go to a Waukegan, Illinois soup kitchen; to date, she has helped raise over $24,000 in contributions; and WHEREAS, Margaret Garwood's selfless contributions have earned her the respect by both her former and current students as well as her colleagues and friends; therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Margaret C.
