    The House met pursuant to adjournment.
    The Speaker in the Chair.
    Speaker Madigan asked and obtained unanimous  consent  to  use  the
Quorum Roll Call of the Regular Session as the Roll Call for Attendance
in this First Special Session.


    At  the  hour  of 2:00 o'clock p.m., Speaker Madigan moved that the
House do now adjourn until Friday, March 24, 2000.
    The motion prevailed.
    And the First Special Session stood adjourned.
