Undergraduate and law degrees from Southern Illinois University; assisted in creation of Brown County United Way; member, John Wood Community College Foundation Board; member, board of directors, Quincy Alzheimer's Association; member, Regional Council of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Married (husband Jim), four children, resides in Mt. Sterling.
