Biography: Fifth generation Onargan- attended both grade and high school in Onarga. Graduated from Michigan State University - agricultural technology in Landscape & Nursery Management. He has been involved in the operation of the family business, Onarga Nursery, from childhood and served as president from 1989 to 2001. Former member of the Iroquois County Board for 14 years, currently serving as chairman. Chairman of Board of Trustees - Grand Prairie Seminary, currently undertaking the largest building project in the history of Onarga, Chairman of the Onarga Community Center and a member of the local Lions Club. He serves as Elder, secretary and trustee of the Onarga Christian Church and coaches the girls basketball at St. John's Lutheran School in Buckley. Married and the father of three daughters and one son.
