Section 1003.10  Definitions

            "Act" means the Illinois Vehicle Code (See Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 95½, pars. 1-100 et seq.).

            "Department" means the Department of Accounting Revenue of the Office of the Secretary of State.

            "Director" means the Director or Acting Director of the Department.

            "Person" means the person indebted to the Secretary of State for any fee or tax imposed by the Act.

            "Registration" has the meaning given in Section 1-171 of the Act.

            "Secretary of State" or "Secretary" means the Illinois Secretary of State.
