Section 730.230  Home Mechanics

Home Mechanics instruction is provided in conjunction with Activities in Daily Living training to present a comprehensive curriculum in the skills of independent living.  The goal of this training is to assist the client in obtaining safe and efficient skills in the management of common household maintenance and repair.  Training is provided in the following areas:

a)         use of common hand tools;

b)         practical electricity and electronics;

c)         practical plumbing; and

d)         general woodworking.
