Section 395.400  Proficiency Examination

a)         The basic nursing assistant proficiency examination will be the State-approved competency evaluation, both written and manual skills components, developed from the curriculum outlined in Section 395.300.

b)         Any examinee who fails to successfully pass the proficiency examination within the first 45 days of employment must enroll in and successfully complete an approved Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program or Developmental Disabilities Aide Training Program.
