CHAPTER VIII: DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION SUBCHAPTER b: PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS PART 1450 REAL ESTATE LICENSE ACT OF 2000 SECTION 1450.80 BRANCH OFFICES
Section 1450.80 Branch Offices
a) A sponsoring broker wanting to operate a real estate branch office shall, in accordance with Section 5-45 of the Act, file an application with the Division, on forms provided by the Division, together with the following:
1) A properly completed Consent to Examine and Audit Special Accounts form;
2) The name and license number of the manager of the branch office; and
3) All required fees under Section 1450.95.
b) Upon receipt of the above documents and review of the application, the Division shall issue a license authorizing the sponsoring broker to engage in real estate activities at that branch office or shall notify the applicant of the reason for the denial of the license.
c) The name of the branch office shall be the same as that of the main office, or shall clearly delineate the branch office's relationship with the main office (e.g., affiliated with, associated with, subsidiary of).
d) The sponsoring broker shall not open a branch office or have licensees working from a branch office until after receipt of the branch office license.
