Section 2006.20  Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this Part is to implement Section 370c of the Illinois Insurance Code.  This Part shall apply to all companies authorized to do an insurance business in this State of the kinds described in Class 1 (a), 1 (b) or 2 (a) of Section 4 of the Illinois Insurance Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 73, par. 616) and to corporations licensed in accordance with the Non-Profit Health Care Service Plan Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 32, par. 551 et seq.) the Medical Service Plan Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 32, par. 563 et seq.) and the Voluntary Health Services Plans Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 32, par. 595 et seq.).
