Section 5010.600  Definition of Transferable Equipment

Transferable equipment is State-owned equipment which is no longer needed and/or useful to the agency currently in possession of it.  Property, will normally be designated as transferable by the agency holding possession. Disputes as to whether or not property is transferable will be resolved by the Director of CMS.  Determination by the Director will be based on:

a)         value of property;

b)         type of property;

c)         current use of property by possessing agency; and

d)         other potential use for property.  (The State Property Control Act Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 127, par. 133b10.3)
