Section 5010.480  Reporting U.S. Property on Annual Inventory

a)         All equipment marked "Property of U.S. Government" or "U.S. Property" and having a value of more than $3,000 must be checked by the possessing agency for compliance with the regulations of the State Plan for the use of Federal Surplus Property as well as being checked on the State Annual Inventory.  (See Federal Surplus Property:  Illinois State Plan of Operation 44 Ill. Adm. Code 5020).

b)         Equipment whose title is vested in the United States Government is not subject to inventory by the Property Control Division; however, the equipment must be maintained on agency inventory records.
