Section 6.600  Exception Provision

A suspension action is final, except that the period of time during which a contractor is suspended may be decreased, delayed or rescinded at any time, if, in the judgment of the Secretary, the public interest warrants such action. The Secretary may grant an exception permitting a suspended or voluntarily excluded contractor to participate in a particular contract or type of contracts if the public interest will be served by the participation.  A contractor suspended for the intentional, willful, or material failure to make the disclosures required by Section 50-35 of the Code is not eligible for exception or reinstatement until two years of the suspension shall have passed.
