Section 4.3  Authority

This Part is promulgated by the Chief Procurement Officer for Public Institutions of Higher Education (CPO) and applies to the following higher education governing Boards of the State of Illinois: the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University, the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University, the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University, the Board of Trustees of Governors State University, the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University, the Board of Trustees of Chicago State University, the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois University and the Board of Trustees of Illinois State University (hereinafter sometimes referred to individually as "University," "State University," or "Public University" and collectively as "Universities," "State Universities," or "Public Universities") in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Procurement Code (the Code) [30 ILCS 500].  This Part may be amended in accordance with the Code and the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act [5 ILCS 100].
