Section 2500.10  General Information

a)         The Local Labor Relations Board has jurisdiction over collective bargaining matters between employee organizations and units of local government with a population in excess of 1 million persons, but excluding the Regional Transportation Authority. [5 ILCS 315/5(b)].  Such units include the County of Cook, the City of Chicago, the Chicago Transit Authority, the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago, the Chicago Housing Authority and the Chicago Park District.  The Local Board maintains an office at 160 North LaSalle Street, Suite S-400, Chicago, Illinois 60601-3103.  Its telephone number is (312)793-6400.  General information regarding the Local Board and its activities may be obtained by writing or telephoning the Board.  Information regarding the Board's docket of pending cases and their status may be obtained by contacting the Board Clerk at the same address and telephone number.
