Section 575.220  Offices

The main office of the Attorney General is located in the State capital at 500 South Second Street, Springfield, Illinois 62706.  The principal branch office is located at 160 North LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois 60601.  In general, matters arising out of the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will are handled by the Chicago office.  Those matters arising out of the other 96 counties are handled by the Springfield office.  The Attorney General has also established satellite offices, principally for the purpose of handling consumer protection matters.  A list of the current offices is available upon request.
